I obtained a Tecumseh HSSK50 67394S motor on a Murray snowblower in like new condition. I didn't make much of the gasoline sitting in the tank at pick up until the snowblower didn't start despite multiple attempts when there was snow on the ground. Online threads noted that carburetors are usually gummed up if sitting with stale gasoline, making me think this was the problem. The snowblower is heavy and difficult to transport, and the carburetor repair was going to cost me about $40. I found this seller and the price was reasonable, so I made the purchase. Shipment came earlier than expected, free shipping was a plus. Installation took 30-45 minutes for me (once I got the right wrench and was able to get the fuel line off without spilling stale gasoline all over the place) and was relatively straight forward with no surprises. The part fit without issue where it was supposed to go. I closed everything up, and the snowblower started on the first try. One kept leaking gas out the top and the other one would not work properly on the machine.
