Have you tried emailing the seller? I usually buy separately the empty paint pens so if there is ever an issue I can just put the paint in the replacement pen. If the pen tip is dry tho if it's acrylic paint dip the tip in water and for oil based paint pens dip the tip of the pen in rubbing alcohol. **Q: can i laundrer things made with this?** A: But, it is a permanent paint and will stay on after being washed, if this is what you mean by "launder"? I was amazed by the color assortment. The quality of paint seems to good. The pen is much larger than it's compediter. Giving you even more value for your money. The barrel itself is much larger and I'm sure is filled with more paint? **Q: is there any way to refill these? Seems like such a waste of plastic for not much paint.....** A: Yes, you unscrew the barrel. Once you get the barrel unscrewed, carefully take it apart and separate the tip housing, pump mechanism. Rinse thoroughly with warm or hot water. Not too hot as to deform the plastic parts. Then completely rinse the barrel out. First, try to remove the small balls placed in the barrel to help mix paint up before each use. You will want to reinsert them after you fill the clean barrel back up with your choice if paint. Remember that the paint they use in each pen, is somewhat deuted for easier flow, through the pumping mechanics. You may want to delute paint mixture before refilling it? For this same reason. I tried using Flowtrol. It's what is mixed into the spay painter, by pro house painters who use paint sprayers, for the same reasons. Flo is Home Depot's brand.
