So, looked for something made in America and I got it with this Heritage pot - MADE IN AMERICA. I have washed it up - you need to read the directions - there are polished agents still on the pot when you receive it - so you'll need some white vinegar and dish soap. I was amazed at how much gray stuff came off - but it did. There are a few spots but I am not worried about that. I haven't cooked in it yet - I am a little concerned about the titanium stainless mix as food may stick more as a result of the titanium - BUT the titanium is what is supposed to make the pot last longer with less 'pitting' when using salt in water (pasta), etc. I have such high hopes for this pan. Again, MADE IN AMERICA. So to me, I'm willing to pay a little (or a lot) more. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. And if there are any issues with cooking/sticking, etc. All of my reviews reflect my honest, personal experience with the reviewed item - your experience may be different.
