I tried 5 other products to no avail on a stubborn last bolt that was rounded off, on a transmission! Was able to drill into bolt then use this product with a drill. It WORKED on first try! It was pricey but worth it after going thru all the pains to get it out! SOOOO, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT WHEN ALL ELSE FAILED!

Very useful set to extract transmission drain and fill plugs. An example here is an extracted BMW E90 - 328i transmission drain plug. Due to overall rotation wear and tear, expect these heads not to last long. If one head spins and does not extract the plug, I move on to the bigger head and pound it in, then rotate.Worth every penny. Solved my problems. 2021 Subaru Outback Onyx edition. The drain plugs on these are a cheap soft metal. It's a defect. Took it in for an oil change at a 'quick lube' place preciously. I go to change it this time myself. They stripped bolt head. Also saw they used lock tight.So we're jacked up. Keep in mind in have a very strong grip. Channel locks, nope. A good fitting set of vice grips, nope. Mangled it more. In all my life I've never had this issue with any drain plug. So I order some slanty flower style sockets that you hit on. When you rachet it bites in. Metal is too soft. Chews it up. Enter this ez out set.Tonight I drill a 3/8" hole, then counter bore with a 1/4". Tap one of these bad boys in. Took 8 minutes to do the drilling. Then another to carefully seat it. And we're loose.

Super great for those limited work spaces where you think it's impossible to get something out of. Saved me thousands. I sheared off a oil pressure sensor in the upper oil pan of a nissan titan. This product was perfect! If it would have broke or not been able to remove the broken sensor It was going to be either a full engine pull to get it out or a full upper pan replacement which would have been 1000 plus I was quoted. I drilled it out big enough to get the 7/32 easy out on it. The did try the smaller ones, but was witnessing them flexing. Instead of breaking them off inside the broken bolt, I played it safe and drilled it out big enough to get a stronger easy out on it. Worked flawlessly.

Instead of providing the strength and durability promised, the bits failed under what should have been standard usage conditions. This not only resulted in a waste of time and effort but also forced me to invest in additional tools to rectify the mess left behind by the XEWEA set.The product's claim to be a "Hex Head Multi-Spline Easy Out Bolt Extractor Set" fell flat on its face, as it clearly couldn't handle the job it was designed for. This experience has left me frustrated and dissatisfied, and I would strongly caution others against considering the XEWEA 25Pcs Screw Extractor Set for any serious repair work. Save yourself the headache and opt for a more reliable and trustworthy alternative.

For all those that said these are junk or don't work, you are wrong! I bought these as I had a stripped bolt on my 2004 Mercedes Benz SL55 AMG. I had to remove the pulley (2 of them 1 bolt) and the plot was stripped. I drilled the whole according to the suggested size and added the easy out and with the help of Kroil Oil (best oil I have ever used) and tightening it slowly it was able to remove the bolt! Clean threads and this little kit saved me thousands of dollars! I recommend these and see images! Time to clean everything up and buy a new bolt and fix my water pump!
