**Q: Does this item come with the base to mount the vent to the roof**
A: The vent mounts to the standard size pipe the comes up through the roof from the black and/or grey water holding tanks. It slips over the outside of that pipe after the old vent cap has been removed.

**Q: Will this thing fit on a plain two inch pvc pipe?  not using on a camper.  it just has to fit on schedule 40, 2 inch pvc... two feet above a roof.**
A: It will. I had a coupling on top of my vent and this wouldn't fit it. I had to get a piece of 2" pipe and stick it into the coupling and then put this on top of the pipe.

**Q: What size pipe does it slide over?**
A: All rvs are standard with a 1.5in tank vent. Hope this helps.

**Q: Why is white one $7 more?**
A: Probably just availability?
