SKYRC iMAX B6 Mini Professional Balance Charger / Discharger for RC Lipo Battery Charging

This little charger does everything I need it to do and it comes in a real nice small package which fits in your tool box just about anywhere. You have to make sure and order a power supply if you do not have one, because this one does not have one. It is clearly stated as to what you are getting. You can adjust your charging rate from .1 to 6 amps. It has a storage mode, balance mode, and a discharge mode as well. I ordered a set of banana plugs to use with my traxxas type battery plugs. This charges and has all of the same features as the charger I bought at my local shop for twice the price. I think this one is better because it is encased in aluminum and not plastic. there is also a fan that does an efficient job of keeping the charger cool. I will probably be buying another one of these just because it is such good quality at an inexpensive price. It will also be nice to be able to charge my batteries twice as fast.

I have had two of these for a total of 3 years. There is a learning curve. read the instructions or go online so that you can understand how it works. They both have worked flawlessly for three years and will charge anything you can imagine as long as you can connect it. I run RC cars I recharge lithium polymer batteries, nickel metal hydride, lead acid, you name it. it has trickle feature amp control it will do 3S lipo and 2s lipo also among many other things. If you can't get it to work RTFM!

I'll update my review if this changes, but in last week it's charged or discharged over a dozen different lipo's I own. all came out well balanced and nothing has lite on fire! I have a high capacity power-brick I can use with it so there's no issues. I also picked up a breakout board for it so I can extend my lipo batteries further away from the charger, and it works great for that as well. gives me the capacity charged and time as well, which is a great feature. and can consistently charge at 3a. Discharging is much slower than expected (0.6a is the most I've seen it do) But it works fine for most needs without fault! I suggest you pick up a good quality charging brick to go with this charger as well.

Great charger! Does its thing! Storage mode doesn't seem to work when launching from PC interface but other than that it's great (probably something I'm doing wrong or maybe it's not ready for Windows 10 yet!). Device is smaller than you would expect and it just seems unusual that it wouldn't come with its own AC adapter but it is what it is. I like that it comes with alligator clips to hook to your car battery when charging out in the field. You can even set the low voltage cutoff so it'll charge batteries but not drain your car battery to the point it won't start. Came with many different style connectors although if you got those Losi little white connectors for 1s batteries you'll have to make or buy a JST conversion for it. It operates straight forward and makes it easy to properly charge your batteries. It has battery memory settings for many batteries but I would advise against that and just set your batteries up every time. Does charge/ balance charge, storage mode and fast charge for many batteries. Have cycled quite a few batteries through it with no issues. As long as your not an idiot this should last a long time as it seems like a quality product.

Bought it to replace the burned out previous B6. The unit is authentic. I really appreciate the addition of USB port - although the software could be more advanced, it's better than no port and no software with previous model. I can now easily start my typical charging programs for 18650 and Pb 6 cells with a few keystrokes on the PC with Windows 10 - which connected without drivers, and have detailed charts for A, V and aH. Much better and cost-effective than reinventing the wheel with on-board interfaces. I'd only wish it could remember my choices for LiPo charge when I don't start charge from the PC.
