We thought buying a reusable air filter for hvac might help reduce his allergy reactions and it absolutely did! Airthreds was a great buy (we got 10% off), easy to use & install, and I love the design! My favorite part was that it came with some Colorado stickers (my home state) and a magnetic reminder pad that you can stick to the fridge so you won’t forget when you should wash it for the next cycle. That’s just so thoughtful! I’m sick of buying the disposable ones, and honestly I didn’t even change them as frequently as I should have been. I think this is definitely a right choice for me and my family. Now we can have better air quality at home and save some money in the long run :)

By purchasing this filter, it will save the environment, money and space. We will also never run out of air filters - at least not for awhile. Although lightweight and easy to put together, it also seems well-made. It was the right size (16x25x1) and easy to install. I plan to purchase another.The only suggestion I would make is to place a small pull on the side of the filter to make it easier to remove. Other than that, I believe it's perfect. Since we just installed it, we will now see how many times it may be washed, before needing to replace.Thank you for such a great product!

This has been one of the best purchases I have ever made on here. I suffer from a lung disease that makes it very hard to breathe if there is anything in the air and this has made my daily life so much better. I included a picture of my air meter and this is a consistent reading ever since about a day after installing this wonderful filter. It has never been this low before.I am breathing so much better and the air feels and smells wonderful and it makes such a difference when my air feels like it is making a difference in my lungs. Anyone who has a lung deficiency knows what I am talking about. Sometimes when I breathe it feels like despite me taking in the air it feels like the air has no oxygen and isn't doing anything. Since installing this I breathe better and I can really feel the difference.Best of all, I don't have to worry about buying more fiberglass filters to pollute the environment. Who wants to breathe air with fiberglass fibers anyways? Just wash and reinstall! Love it!One tip-when I put it in, my wife suggested I might have it wrong because I had the logo side out. As usual, she was right. Be sure to look for that arrow and point it the right way!Hope this helps! =)

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I was not ready for how easy this was going to be to deal with but I was 100% ready to be done with disposable filters. I don't honestly know what I expected but I was willing to roll the dice for $50 to find out if this would be the last filter I would ever have to buy for my HVAC unit. I honestly think it may be. The idea is pretty straightforward, the filtering material is like a zip-up pillowcase and it slides around a plastic frame to make a filter the size you need. SImple. Just slip it off and launder it to start all over again. I like that it is simple. I like that I was able to assemble it easily. I like that all of the parts of the break-down frame are tethered together so I will not lose them. I like that the bag is easy to slide on and off, I like not buying or throwing away filters. If it can last for 10 years it will beat the cheapest disposable. Check back in three years.

Arrived today, and immediately installed it. I purchased the 20x30 filter and it fit perfectly, better than other filters, actually. Assembly was straight forward. I didn't bother reading the instructions until I noticed the connector piece that holds the center brace was missing... Without it, the middle of the filter bows in too much, leaving a gap along the long edges of the filter. So, I just took a small piece of scrap wood and "fixed" it. I plan on reaching out to the manufacturer tomorrow to see if I can get a replacement part. Other than that, I'll just have to wait and see how it holds up to washing. If I can get the missing piece, I'll update my rating.I contacted AirThreads and let them know the little piece was missing from the frame. They quickly sent me a new frame, at no charge.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  After washing my filter for the first time, I'm super happy with the quality! The entire process went smoothly and the filter seemed to collect a lot of gunk!

We like this produt so much in general. The package is very beautiful and creative. It's easy to assemple and the filter fabric seems very sturdy and durable. The most surprising thing is the gift reminder. We always forgot when shall we change the filter so this is such a thoughtful gift for customers like us. We're looking forward to see the performance of this filter in the next couple months.

So far so good pretty good product reason why I give it only four out of five stars is because when I ordered two 12x24s for my other vents since I have a heat pump system and mind you I ordered those straight from the manufacturer they arrived one with a stain on the filter and one were the frame was defective granted customer service made it right but also feel that they should have sent out an additional filter itself because the defective frame pretty much stretched out the filter itself but they were able to send a new filter and frame one to cover the stain filter and then the frame to cover the defective frame but all in all pretty satisfied really won't know until I see the filter getting dirty to see how well it is filtering but I love their innovation in creating a machine washable filter unlike other washable filters where you have to spray it down and wait for it to dry so your unit is without a filter or you have to keep disposable ones on hand while waiting for a spray down washable filter to dry my
