One of the books was so old and smelled so bad I had to throw it out.
2 of the 3 books were old, but fine to use. One of the books, the thickest one, For Whom the Bell Tolls, was so old and smelled so bad I had to throw it out. It literally made me feel ill to have it close to me. I ordered a new one.
