The convenience of owning it and its durability stand out as the main reasons we've purchased three of them in the last year for various rooms in our house. They humidify with a cool mist , so there's no problem with mold on the ceilings and walls. It's really easy to clean the body and water reservoir of the humdifier and the process to descale it is incredibly simple. FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS! All you need is two teaspoons of white vinegar and two teaspoons of water to clean the powering element, using the provided brush. The (optional) blue light works as a lovely night light in the bedroom. Except for the occasional gurgle, the humidifier is soundless. The settings are simple to use and simple to remember. WE've used many different humidifiers over the years and Pure Enrichment has gotten every detail correct, at least in the eyes who want good results and don't need to deal with complicated settings and time consuming maintenance. **Q: How easy is it to clean the base and the tank?**
A: very easy. i use a foam bottle brush for the tank and the base, giving them both a gentle scrub every three days. the power sources disconnects from the base, which makes it easy to move the humidifier. this humidifier also comes with a brush to safely clean the ultra sonic disk. and, if you give the company feedback, they'll send you a free de-calcification filter.

**Q: Is this a top fill humidifier?**
A: You have to take the clear body off the base to fill. It is kind of inconvenient. It is also small the size of a football so make sure the room you are using it in is small.
I would not have bought it if I saw it in a store.

**Q: Optional night light...does that mean you can turn it off, if you don't want light in the bedroom?**
A: How do you turn off the night light. There are answers that say it's possible but no instructions

**Q: Is this ultra quiet?**
A: It's quiet until I hear a dripping sound.  I have been emptying it every morning and letting it dry out.  This seems to help so far.
