Mrs bought a Cuisinart 2-pack of drain strainers that's silicone. As soon as I put them both in the sink, water was backing up. Not sure if it's the silicone or the cheese grater type of holes (angled holes instead of flat, due to being silicone material most likely, not solid) but completely defeated their purpose. (C'mon Cuisinart, they literally serve ONE job and can't do it right.) All that said, THESE drain strainers... the SIGA ones, they're brilliant. Catchability is perfect, resistant to rust that I've seen, and very simple to clean; helps that they're stainless steel--a nice retro-ish look and serves its purpose exactly as expected.

I used to have a mesh sink strainer and it was always so nasty and falling apart. This strainer is easy to empty and to clean, and it fits perfectly in my sink drain without moving around. It is fairly shallow so it does have to be emptied pretty regularly, but that's not an issue for me. Very sturdy and I can tell it will last me a long time.

Very nice looking and fit our stainless steel dual sinks perfectly. I got these to replace our deeper wire mesh strainers and the quality is much better. I love that these are shallower than our older ones - easier to dump food debris out. With these new ones there are not as many holes so they tend to plug up faster than the old wire mesh ones but that's a good thing as it forces you to empty them out sooner vs leaving rotting food in the strainer. Came as a 3-pack so I replaced the two in the kitchen and have a spare just in case.

I love these. I have tried the silicone & Mesh ones and they were horrible. The silicone turned black regardless of cleaning them everyday. The mess ones trapped the food in the mesh and was very hard to get out. These are excellent keeping silverware out of garbage disposal and food out of the other side of my sink. I am so happy with that I just bought the smaller set for bathtub and laundry tub. Heavy duty. Made very good.

Love it for straining garbage , spoons, etc from going down disposal. Good quality, takes a finger nail or two fingers to remove. Easily cleaned.

It might seem silly, but I love these strainers. They fit perfectly in the sink, and look like they are part of the Sink. They are easy to remove and rinse out over the disposal, keeping food out of the drain pipe. A friend of mine commented on how nice they were, so I bought a set as a Christmas gag gift!

I wish I had found these sooner! They are sturdy, no mesh to dent. Even when they are getting full, they still allow water to drain because there are holes up the sides. They are easy to clean and they fit in the sink drain perfectly!

Really good products, fits perfectly. However, only 2 pcs were in the package, not 3 as it is mentioned in the purchase add. Still, will give a 5 stars for the quality.
