Some reviewers complained of a strong paint/chemical smell on them, but I could only smell it very faintly. There were a couple very small paint looking spots on them though, as shown in the picture. Not really a big deal for me.Regarding shipping, there was no tracking info for this carrier. Took me a couple weeks to find that there was tracking info at the USPS site, and that they had tried to deliver my package multiple times! Did not get any notices of attempted delivery and had to go pick up my package at the post office. I could have had my boots a lot sooner.Still, these are cute boots and worth the wait. I think they will be versatile.
