whats the difference between the pet swiffer and the heavy duty?

No difference. I have a dog that sheds a lot and NO DIFFERENCE. I compared the two side by side. Same dimensions, same pattern and same weight. Yes I even weighted them. I posted a comment with this info. It's a scam. Same swifffer in a different box with a higher price. I though false advertising was illegal. Don't waist your money on it.

does pads fit on a regular swifter mops ?

Yes they do and they smell wonderful! We have a multi cat/dog household and I thought I had the hair shedding problem under control until my husband surprised me with a swifter kit that he found here on Amazon. It included some of the heavy duty sweeping cloths and I prefer these to any of the regular. I was amazed at the amount of pet hair these pick up. The Pet Sweeping Cloths seem to be heavier duty. Just opened the box so I'll be eager to see if they work as well or better than the original heavy duty cloths. They do smell fantastic.

Do these swiffers have oil in them? My box had oily/greasy spots on the inside and outside and the fragrance was horribly strong.
