Mentholatum Original Ointment Soothing Relief, Aromatic Vapors - 1oz (Pack of 2)

I've been using Mentholatum for years. I use it for a stuffy nose and especially on lips during winter, as well as generally all year to relieve the dry, chapped feeling. On the nose, I put some under the nostrils and breath it in. I find it has a stronger, more clearing effect than a couple of other vapo type rubs. On lips, I really prefer it to the sticks that seem waxy and seem to coat rather than soothe. When applied, it stays on, and again is cool and soothing. Just a little bit is needed, and can be reapplied without worry of a buildup of waxy coating. Overall, the strength of ingredients seems better, and do a better job than others I've tried. A little more price but worth it. I keep a jar by the bed and in the car all the time. Stuffy nose? Chapped lips? I do recommend.

Not sure what this ointment is supposed to do (is it like RubA535? Or supposed to act like Vicks?) I use it as a "cure-all" ointment on my kids. Whenever they get a boo-boo that mommy's kiss just can't fix, I bring out the "cure-all" cream! Rub it on their owie, and as soon as they smell the menthol, suddenly they're better :). I doubt I'm using it for the intended purpose ... However it works great for the reason I bought it for! Will definitely have to buy again once it runs out 👍 Only con is how small it is!! Wish it were bigger.

Great product. My Mother introduced using this with me back in 1955. Especially this time of year in the dead of cold and very low humidity.

So very soothing for dry lips, I use it every night before going to bed. Also a tad in the stuffy nostrils feels great. I hope they never stop making Mentholatum!
