The 3 mm Rope chain is too thick to fit this angel pendant. It fits onto a 2 mm Rope chain, and though it is a matter of taste, that chain looks too thick for this pendant in my opinion. You could use a 1 mm Rope chain, but the best look aesthetically is the small pendant chain this comes with. I hope this helps.
