These are a great product that are not only ecologically friendly but also not full of harmful chemicals that will leech into your body. You can compost the applicator and recycle the paper packaging.

I've used lots of different brands of tampons and was excited to try this brand that is free from some of the chemicals that the other brands have. The shipping took forever (a few weeks), but maybe that's just Amazon's fault? These are, hands down, the hardest tampons to insert. There isn't really a way to grip or get ahold of the cardboard in order to slide it up. I have to try to use my fingernails on the outter cardboard and force it, then wind up taking the hole thing out and doing it manually without the "applicator". It's gross. Idk, I might prefer the other brands over that whole messy situation. I'm tired, I'm crampy, I'm bleeding, I have a toddler crying on the other side of the bathroom door because I won't let her watch me pee. I really need a tampon applicator that works.

First, I’d like to say that when I first started wearing tampons, I always bought the cardboard applicators because they were cheaper. So, I actually like these tampons. The tampon itself is a bit longer than the Tampax Supers I use, which I actually like because it lets me go an extra hour before I need to change it. Secondly, what is up with the packaging? It looks like everyone is having the same issue: the box is beat to hell when it arrives. The look isn’t very appealing, which I personally don’t care about, but I’m worried about the product getting damaged if the box doesn’t hold up. Overall, I will be purchasing these again!

I know these are supposed to be one of the cleaner, non toxic tampons but they are not high quality made. The cardboard applicator is so painful and hard to insert. Will not buy again for discomfort reasons.
