Great Product to entertain cats
It's very innovative for cats/kittens, the only drawback is that it does not switch off automatically after some time. I left it on and went to work and on my return the battery was over.

An... interesting toy
The idea is pretty fun. The fish do swim. Comes with spare batteries.Cats showed only mild interest, but this cannot be predicted lol.

Get battery low quickly
My cats didn’t like it….

It came with empty batteries
The batteries do not work! They worked for 5 min and that is all. Otherwise the fish is not bad but i need to purchase good batteries and i do not consider an honest sell sending me the product with damaged batteries.

NOT WHAT I EXPECTED!😒
None of my cats were interested in playing with these fish. One of the fish was actually not working at all. My cats were bored and so was I.Not worth the money.

Fun stimulating enrichment for felines & humans. Worth trying out!
My cats don't love it, but I love the idea of this. Cat enrichment! I have seen people post videos of their cats just really getting into watching or interacting with these robotic fish. I had a suspicion that my cats would be indifferent, but I wanted to try it anyway. Even if I just got them to look at the fish, then I know they would have had a little enrichment to the day. Maybe I need to try a different bowl. I'll play around with these more. I have 3 cats, two of which are nearly 18 years old. My other is around 8. My now elderly kitties would have loved this when they were younger. They dont do much with toys these days, so I am always looking for ways to perk them up.The 4 fish (about 2.5"-3") are securely packaged in a small, slim container. Easy storage. They come equipped with batteries, so they are ready to go directly from box. This package also comes with additional batteries, which is great. The fish are pretty. Multiple colors on a semi transparent body. The fin.tail starts moving once it touches water, so there is no need to mess with an on/off switch. They make a little noise, nothing scary. The impressive thing is how cool they look in the water. They look and act like fish! At least *I* was entertained looking at these. I am really taken with these. I love watching the fish swim around- they look quite natural. The only thing different about these than my aquarium is that these fish can't die. If I could just keep these as fish, I really think I would would! So.. Human Enrichment, too!For first time use, I placed the fish in a large rectangular bowl of water on the counter. My younger boy watched me watching the fish as though saying, "you know those are fake, right?". But yeh, I at least saw him watching the fish from a few feet away. Whereas my elderly girl came up to the bowl and watched. She sniffed a little. I am happy that she wanted to check them out. I think I will get a bigger bowl and see if I can pique their interest again (and maybe more so).If you have curious cats, cats that could use a little stimulation (even if just to watch) cats that don't mind getting their paws wet if they decide to bat at the fish.. I think it would be worthwhile to pick up a set of fish and find out how they like it. I don't think they need long sessions- just a few minutes. And again, even if only watching, that is stimulating their brain!----------------Frequently Asked QuestionsQ: How can I maximize the battery life?A: Batteries will last longer if you take the toy out of water after 3-5 minutes of use. Installed batteries will last about 20-30 minutes if used continuously. We recommend to place 2 fish in the water, let your cat play first and switch it with other 2 fish after 3-5 minutes, to maximize the battery life.Q: What kind of battery is used? What is included?A: AG13 or LR44 battery. The Robot Fish already some with 8 LR44 batteries INSTALLED and another 8 EXTRA batteries for replacement. Battery installation tool is also included. *Bowl is not included.*Q: Where is the on/off switch?A: Robot fish is water activated. There is no on/off switch. Fish will automatically start when it is placed in the water, and stop moving when out of water. If the fish doesn't stop, please wipe it with a dry cloth.

Great concept but poor battery life
My cats love these fish, but unfortunately, we didn't get much use out of them because of issues that seemed to be related to the battery life. The first time we used the fish, they moved pretty quickly in water. But after a few uses, the speed and power decreased to the point where the fish wouldn't move (and this was with us following the instructions, which I think, from memory, told you not to use them in water for more than 2 minutes at a time).Eventually we replaced the batteries, which gave the fish another burst of power, then the same thing happened.I think they're a great concept and really entertaining for cats, but only while they work. My cats couldn't care less when the fish are unmoving in the water. As a result, these will probably end up in a cupboard and never used again.

Pretty good but poor battery life
These were really cool at the start but then they stopped working after a few goes then the mechanics went quick after we changed the batteries a few times. One of the pack didn't even work at the start. Wouldn't buy an again. Shame as they were good and my boy did like them

Good!
Take them out of the water after a bit or you’ll go through those battery’s fast. My cat loved them though.

REVIEW & TIPS - WORTH A TRY
Just got these but was skeptical based on reviews however fin & battery issues can be easily resolved.Check batteries to make sure they looked intact, make sure o-ring is in place that helps seal compartment and screw the cover back on tightly making sure nothing prevents closure like misaligned battery. Of course, remove fish from water after each use & dry off as listed. To secure tail fin, pull it off, glue it back on & test it once dried. This is easy to do & doesn't affect movement. See pic attached. Make sure to use only a TINY bit of glue & place on the very end of the stem so it stays inside the fin as the glue spreads as you put the tail back on (before glue dries). MAKE SURE no glue is pushed outside of the fin. If it is, remove it. While it isn't a very accessible area, it's still risky. See 2nd pic.To trigger movement, press sensors on both sides of fish & place in water (see 3rd pic; sensor is small black dot below front of top fin on ea side). They worked for quite a while in water...actually didn't stop until I removed them. Unfortunately my cat wasn't interested, probably due to flashing lights. She never seems to like those. She tried to grab a fish when I held it & showed her the tail fin move so minus the lights she might have loved these. Never know. But worth a try! Just follow above tips for safety.
