Although the right size, it is difficult to install on an older Junior. The older Junior does not have the pre-drilled holes that this shelf requires for installation. To install you have to line the shelf up making sure it is level and the correct distance away from the Traeger then, while holding it in place, someone has to help by marking where the holes need to be. After that I needed to measure to make sure the marks were in the same place on both sides (which they weren't). Then I drilled the 2 holes required on both sides to be able to install. After all that I was close, but not 100% correct. So, the moral of this story is that for easy installation make sure you have the newer Junior (or 20) that already has the holes otherwise it is a bit of a challenge to install. The product itself is great, having the additional shelf space is great, but perhaps, because of how I installed it, the lid will hit things on the shelf if they are too close to the Traeger itself.

The shelf is OK but Traeger should learn to use a tape measure. The shelf is 22 1/2" long compared to the smoker which is 22" long so the hinges got bent out of shape. They should include 1/4" thick washers for each side to bring the hinges out to the same length as the shelf. It still works OK as is.

Good quality shelf. Unfortunately I ordered the wrong size for my smoker. Good bang for your buck in my opinion. The return was easy and I ordered the same one but the right size this time. Waiting for the arrival of the new one

All quality parts with easy to follow and simple instructions.The shelf was connected and working in less than 10 minutes.I used an electric screwdriver but honestly there was so little effort to install it, it was probably overkill on my part.
