My daughter got it for her 1 year birthday and loves it

It was quite a search before I found this 'Wee baby Stella' doll, there is a slightly bigger 'Baby Stella' doll in the range if you want one.As I wanted a fully soft bodied baby doll that is her favourite tag along at the moment and this is just perfect for her.In the video you see can the magnetic milk bottle and dummy, the magnets are fully enclosed inside the doll. They even stick on the fridge is which is where will find them too.The baby doll really is made with soft good quality material.When I was looking one that didnt have plastic parts, all I could find were ones did have. I thought I'd found a compromise, I then saw it in a toy shop and it wasn't plus there weren't any others to choose from.As soon as she sees this 'wee baby Stella' it's the first thing she plays with.She will then take the outfit off the doll herself. Which she easily does with the velcro fastening. Of course she later comes back for you to the dress doll, so she can take it off again.

I recently bought my 2 year old daughter a normal baby doll and as much as she has enjoyed playing with it, I wish I knew about Baby Stella first! The other doll is far too big for her to handle, this one is the perfect size and is lightweight. I love the simple face, tuft of hair and the little touches like the belly button. The magnetic dummy is fun for her to give to the baby and remove and the top and nappy can be removed and put back on which she enjoys trying. Highly recommend as a first baby doll. My only negatives are that I believe it's a little overpriced and should include the magnetic bottle as standard.

As all the reviews appeared to be only positive I decided this would be a great gift for my grand daughter's first birthday. What a disappointment!! It is very small and not at all cuddly. Very expensive for what it is. This doll is mostly ignored. A Jellycat soft toy is far more cuddly and softer. For a first doll I'd definitely recommend a Baby Annabelle, which has a soft body and eyes that close. In my view this Manhattan doll has been a total waste of money.

Bought this and the accompanying carry cot for my granddaughter’s first birthday! Good value at £50!For a tiny tot it’s ideal being made from material - lightweight and easy to hold (even if you’re holding dolly the wrong way up!!) and easy to look after in warm soapy water. It’s sturdy but squidgy. Velcro to attach hood is just right. Clever design - little mobile toy attaches to a loop on the hood. Teddy has elastic loop to slip over dolly’s wrist. Feeding bottle even clicks onto dolls mouth for feeding! Well done and thank you to the creators for an original pretty practical toy! A real hit with my granddaughter!

This doll was so sweet, my heart melted when I opened the package! Admittedly, I returned it for the Sleepy Wee Baby Stella set, but if you’d prefer a doll that doesn’t have a lot of accessories, this is the perfect doll for your Little One!My LO loves her Sleepy Wee Baby Stella but I think the accessories (pacifier, baby bottle, book, teddy bear) are what really won her over. The doll doesn’t smell of lavender, but it’s the perfect size for little arms and overall the perfect (first) doll for tiny humans.
