I bought and use this for my photo booth business. The tripod stands are very light weight. When assembling and putting the backdrops on you have to be careful not to pull on one side or the other are they will fall down. I had to purchase different sand bags because these don't seal very well and I was finding sand on the floor after an event or in my trailer when transporting them to an event.The crossbar is very thin tubing and sags a little if extended at 8 or 10ft. The tripods do go high enough to be out of the photo. It gets the job done, but just wish the tubes were a little bigger or thicker.

Everything as expected

Very ease to assemble and extremely light weight are the positives. The negative? It's supposed to be 7ft wide by 10ft tall and since my backdrop was that exact size, I figured it would be perfect. Took about 5 minutes to put it all together. Clamped the backdrop onto it before I fully extended to the 10ft tall. I raised everything as far as it would go and I still had about 18 inches to go. I looked at the legs to make sure there wasn't something I missed, then checked everything else. Nope, I had all of it extended except for raising the "feet" from a triangle shape (so the sand bags would hold) to a straight up position. In a straight up position there is no way for it to be stable and no way to attach the sandbags. Tried numerous things but it never would stand. I wound up taking it all down and literally taping my backdrop to the wall with duct tape! What an embarrassment to be using a backdrop at a local show and it being held up with duct tape! Don't buy it unless you only have a 5.5ft backdrop. At least that way the legs can be the triangle and hold the sand bags for stability!

(Full disclaimer): This backdrop was provided to me to review for other photographers.I am a portrait photographer, and like so many people in the world now, we are in a semi-lock down situation that makes it hard for me to shoot. I was given the opportunity to shoot against a green background which I thought would be fun since I can try some composite images so at least I feel like I can go outside. (I’m not very good at composite work though.)The backdrop comes with a frame (stands and a support bar) as well as clips, sand bags, and the backdrop itself. This set gives you enough items to start shooting right away. (Well, except for putting sand in the sand bags.) It’s also SUPER affordable compared to a lot of backdrops and stands.The quality, however, is a little disappointing if you’ve used a typical stand and backdrop setup in the past. The bar I received didn’t snap into place - it could have been fixed if I had a right tool, but I didn’t. It may have been a fluke, and I’m sure they would replace it if asked, however, I would feel a bit uncomfortable using this kit outside even without wind. (To be fair, although it wasn’t snapped in all the way, during my test in my studio I didn’t have any problems with the backdrop moving or falling down.)If you are trying out studio shoots, or just starting studio shoots, this kit gives you all you need to start with. I wouldn’t recommend this kit if you are a serious photographer, but it might be a great place to start if you are taking videos and need to have that background gone or you want to try out some composite work but don’t have a huge budget for it.

It's ok haven't figured how to extend the roses as they are stuck inside. The bag came torn.
