ASOLOASOLO Men's TPS 520 GV EVO Long Distance, Backpacking, Trekking, Technical Terrian Hiking Boots

Falling apart at Nine months. Amazon purchase not covered by warranty.
As an avid hiker and climber, I learned a few decades ago that Asolo brand fit my feet well. Latest pair did not last the test of time. Stitching is falling apart at less than one year, which is not acceptable at this price point. A review of Asolo website reveals important warranty information everyone buying their products on Amazon should be aware of (this is direct copy paste from their warranty page on their website): "Examples of what are not covered by warranty, but are not limited to the following: Product bought, from 3rd party marketplaces such as but not limited to Amazon or eBay or any other reseller not found on the ASOLO USA dealer locator or retail database." Buyer beware.

Not what they used to be....
The soles on these started to fall off after 5 weeks of daily wear. No hiking, no mileage. One of the reasons I ordered these was Asolo's 2 year manufacturers guarantee. However, the guarantee needs to be serviced through the seller, Pike to Peak & they have refused.I don't know if they aren't an authorized vendor; or if they were knock offs. either way, I'll never make a pricey purchase through a third party seller.Previous pairs of Asolos held up well; these are garbage.
