The first iron gummy that actually tastes good! It does NOT have that horrible aftertaste and my kid will actually eat it and ask for more and he is super picky. We’ve gone through every other brand and I was so shocked he liked them so i tried it myself and these actually taste great. They are sticky but I will totally take that to have them taste so good.

Both of my toddlers are super picky eaters and have low iron. They were prescribed liquid iron by their doctor but it was impossible to get them to take it. I even mixed it with orange juice like they recommended. In a desperate attempt to get them what they needed, I ordered these gummies. BEST DECISION EVER! They’re a hit and now instead of a fight to get them to take their iron, they remind me that they need it.

I noticed my 4 year old had really brittle nails. My iron is constantly low and I have similar symptoms, so I was looking for something that he could take. Found these and they have completely solved the problem. Just wish they made them for adults! My only complaint is that the top is initially really hard to open. The gummies kept at room temperature (70-72f) have not melted and have kept their shape and consistency for the duration of 60 days. (Longer than that I can't say cause they are gone.)

These aren’t not good tasting. I read reviews hoping my kid would like them. They have a terrible wax smell and I can taste it when u first start chewing it. It goes away after like 5 seconds if u can bare it that long then they are okay.

Update::: the company reached out to us and send us new products. The packing was beautiful and they even added a personalized note. We got to taste the vitamins and my son liked them. I can actually get him to eat these without begging him. I would definitely recommend the vitamins. The company has great customer service and I will be buying more vitamins once we’re out!! Just received our product and it was completely melted. Just looked like a messy glob. We tried to take one out to try but the vitamins were super sticky and messy. I was excited for my son to try these but I’m just disappointed since they were 20$. Planning on returning and getting a refund.

My 3 year old has been eating one a day for a year now, since our pediatrician said he should get an iron supplement. We tried the liquid stuff first but it is truly foul. These gummies taste just fine, masking the metallic taste.

Been ordering from this company for several years now, but this is my first time leaving a review. Great vitamin for my kiddos with anaphylactic food allergies to peanut and fish. We’ve run into issues with fish cross-contamination in other popular kid vitamin brands, but never had any trouble with Vitamin Friends! So glad they’re made in a vegan facility. We will continue to purchase faithfully!

Unfortunately, these vitamins are not palatable to my child 9 yo child with a huge sweet tooth. There are a few strikes against it (and to be fair, I have not been able to find a well-balanced vitamin supplement targeting Fe (iron) that checks all the boxes): 1. Unpalatable. It still has to be eaten to do any good! 2. An astounding amount of sugar in each one (3 grams, I think, per gummy). In spite of the sugar, still does not taste good to the child. 3. The texture and consistency is a little off-putting. It’s turned into a sticky, gooey mess in the jar, and I have to pry one out with a fork. I keep it in the fridge, and perhaps it would be less sticky at room temp? 4. Finally, and this is probably the key for me, it isn’t USP certified. I knew that before buying, but I was being unrealistically hopeful about it being so tasty, that I could overlook the lack of USP, and instead, accept the GMP seal. USP is critical for me since now a days, supplements are a big risk. No one knows if there are extra ingredients, lack of ingredients, toxins, heavy metals, etc. With a USP seal, the risk is mitigated. A verifiable 3rd party lab testing is okay, too. But there is no certificate with this line (again, to be far, it is not easy to find certifiable supplements since it is not required but law, and the FDA or USDA does not oversee quality). Back to searching for an iron supplement.
