Did they change the bottle color?

Bottle colors represent different products lines. Purple is Age Defying, orange is Brightening, pink is Sensitive, blue/turquoise is Clear Skin, and White/Green is CannaCell.

I'm not used to cleansing milks, i see some people using this with a cotton ball, some using hot water first. how do i use, and do i exfoliate first?

You should only be using an exfoliator no more that 2-3 times a week in my opinion. This milk cleanser is great after exfoliating. I have mostly used it after using some of the other cleansing foams by andalou as well... it is great to prevent my skin from drying out too much. I love it for use after the other cleansers. I put a bit on my wet figertips and massage onto my face then rinse. I have not used it with cotton balls. I don't think I would use it alone as a cleanser because I prefer a more clean feel first then use it for the added moisture. I definately would buy it again.

How does this compare to the 1000 roses cleansing foam?

It’s thick and doesn’t suds. I didn’t like this product compared to the 1000 roses foam.

Can this be used as a first step cleanser? should i follow this up with my face wash like i would do after an oil cleanser?

I use this alone as a one-step face wash in winter when my skin is drier and more sensitive due to harsh cold outdoors and harsh heating indoors. It’s really gentle and non-drying, and it helps my skin stay clear and fresh feeling. Great cleanser! I really like it, and I will buy it again.
