Definitely works, but the drying time stated on the instructions just simply isn't right. Once fully cured had no problems with cracking or breaking and I used it to secure the front of my rubber sole to suede mtb shoes which take a severe beating from the weather, still holds strong!

What may not have been pointed out is that the instructions are quite detailed but in extremely small print, with sections squashed together in more than one language, and all on the back of a package measuring 18x9 cms. At time of purchase, Amazon includes the instructions from the reverse, which you may like to print out (The amount detail recalls glues that are primarily intended for professional or specialist use). I've attached a photo of the English-only sections though I don't know if it will enlarge sufficiently to be read, as well as the multi-lingual as per the advertisement.

I used this in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions to repair some shoes. The repair fell apart immediately. Apparently (unlike most of the competition) it's neither a contact nor an impact adhesive and so you need to find some way to hold together the surfaces to be joined at least overnight. I now have a pair of shoes that are good only for the dump as the mating surfaces are contaminated with this stuff and so it is unlikely that a decent contact adhesive will now work.

I've made two repairs in two different pairs of shoes and both are holding up really well. This is the first product that I've used that actually does what it claims to for fixing shows. Excellent product.

Ich benutze Shoe Goo schon seit meiner Jugend und bin überzeugt davon. Seit der neuen Formel ist er etwas flüssiger was durchwegs positiv ist weil er sich jetzt besser unter der Sohle verteilt. Als Tipp: Wenn möglich legt euch etwas schweres zur seite dass ihr in den schuh rein stecken könnt.
