Model: PBE-M5-300-US (2 Units) PowerBeam M5 High-Performance airMAX Bridge Incorporating a dish reflector design witth advanced technology, the PowerBeam is the latest generation of airMAX CPE for customer locations. The PBE-M5-300 US is an airMAX PowerBeam M5 CPE. Designed for long distance links, this 5GHz 22dBi CPE uses InnerFeed technology for a smaller form factor. The new PowerBeam M has a compact, all-in-one design with uniform beam width, efficient footprint and a faster processor. The PowerBeam can be easily mounted in a variety of ways thanks to the innovative mechanical design. Integrated Radio Design InnerFeed technology integrates the radio into the feedhorn of an antenna, so there is no need for cables to connect the radio to the antenna. This improves performance because it eliminates cable losses. Incredible Antenna “Beam” Performance The form factor of the PowerBeam features the highest gain for its size. The PowerBeam’s excellent beam directivity provides the best performance in high-noise environments. Advanced Software Technology airMAX technology is proven in millions of deployments worldwide, exhibiting outstanding performance in outdoor environments. The TDMA airMAX protocol enables unprecedented scalability, high throughput and low latency in unlicensed, multipoint networks.

If you want just a mostly transparent link between two devices i would recommend the following
This link has been rock solid for me. I set it up down my hall way to test out of the settings (and make sure it was working correctly first). If you want just a mostly transparent link between two devices i would recommend the following:1) for Wireless mode set one up as a station, and the other as an access point2) for network mode - use bridged.3) I don't know how much it is impacting my transfer rates (not much in any case), but i would definitely setup a secure link. I used WPA2-AES with a pre shared key.4) in bridged mode it seemed a bit wonky when the device ips were not on the same subnet as i was trying to setup a link for. So i just set both of them to the subnet for easier access/monitoring.5) I wish you could set the beep function (for alignment) for persistence ,but it only works when you have a computer connected. I would recommend doing a rough alignment on one end (no LEDs to look at then), then use the LED strength meter on the side to align the second dish for max power, then go back to the first one to do that (now that you have a power coming through).I am going from within my attic through a corner of a shed and a couple trees to the side of a neighbors house about 1/2 a mile away. Not ideal Line of sight, but getting about 50MBs on the link which is more than enough for my needs at this point. In terms of stability, this has been rock solid with not drop outs at all, and quickly comes back up if i have to power cycle my router or anything.

Very useful device. Bought this second one to replace a failed unit.
I really like this product. It has maintained a solid WiFi link between my house and barn (500 feet) reliably for just over two years. Unfortunately, the barn end failed so I purchased this unit to replace the barn end and have another spare. The change out was straightforward because we saved the original configuration files so setup of the replacement was a snap. I would have liked the unit to last longer than two years. Perhaps it failed as the IP injector was connected to the router with a very long length (100 feet+) of un-shielded CAT6 cable and was subject to induced EMF from nearby lightning. The un-shielded cable will be replaced by properly grounded shielded CAT6.

Awesome!
I tried one of those cheaper products to send signals across the street and it hardly worked. These were a little hard to program at first but after a couple of Youtube videos, they are up and running and sending a solid signal. 10x faster then the cheap ones and I have not even tried to dial them in. I could use a little help figuring out how to dial them in better. Overall very happy with them. They seem a lot beefier than a little box.

great bridge set up for the $
easy to configure and very easy to install. don't need to purchase a mounting pole for these. just use an old direct tv or dish network set of mounting poles. i used my old ones but you may buy some used ones at goodwill for almost nothing. why pay $24+ dollars per set of poles?

Amazing results for a great price
I used this to connect a remote outdoor POS terminal at a garden center back to the main store building after having a lot of trouble with the very old Cat5 run under the parking lot. Performed better than I ever expected with full signal strength at all times. The units were easy to mount with hose clamps on poles and can also be mounted in reverse without the dish to blast WiFi into a building from the outside as an access point, test this feature and it’s very cool :).All in all a great purchase and will totally buy it again if I ever have a similar application in the future.

The technical support is non-existent. Works awesome.
I set this up as a point to point bridge with reasonable line of sight at 1.4 miles. As aforementioned the technical support was totally non-existent however thankfully there are some good You Tube videos that can help you through the install. Make sure that you choose the correct video as not all of them will make your system work. I get 46 Mbps download and 13 ms ping which is about half of what the internet source is at about 80-90% signal strength. I'm only about a week in but the system appears to be very stable despite rain and wind. Right now I couldn't be happier with the function of it.

Easy setup
I like these units, easy to set up and the range seems to be good. A little sensitive to power outages but what isn't these days

Works Great!
First time user and I was able to navigate the config and set up a solid PTP link for an outdoor car show. I look forward to using it next year or sooner perhaps.
