Hello there! As Jim has mentioned here the towel removes much of the moisture from your hair after washing thanks to the microfiber technology. This leaves your hair just a little bit damp which means you'll be spending a lot less time under your blow-dryer :) So yes, the drying process becomes more efficient and quicker.

Does the towel itself dry quick? Wanting to use at gym then put in gym bag

Hello! Microfiber does dry much quicker than a regular cotton towel so if you can hang it somewhere it should dry relatively quickly. We have designed the ziplock bag which the towel is packaged in exactly for this purpose. You can take the Bondi bag to the gym with you to put your towel back into if it is a bit damp so it doesn't get any of your other clothes damp. Great question!
