Made from the best source : natto. Makes me comfortable I will receive the benefits I do not otherwise get from my dietary habits.

This particular formula is not easy to find as a single ingredient. It was prescribed by my doctor as part of the supplement protocol for osteopenia - 90-180 mcg daily, for bone mineral density increase. Most of the other manufacturers of vitamin K2 include K2-MK4 which directs Calcium into blood vessels and organs. It is a small softgel and easy to swallow. The "other ingredients" are not unknown substances, so I can feel good about taking them. They will soon be on my subscription list.

I have been taking these long enough to know that they really aren't doing anything for me. I'm disappointed because I have really put in the time to do research, and I had switched to these from Solgar's K2, which is dry, because these are in oil and I thought that would help absorbency (absorption?) Then I realized I wasn't getting anything out of them so I stopped taking them unless it was with food, but still it's been a few years and all my issues (dental, circulation, and many more) are no better some are worse. I have plenty of supplements that I notice results from when I take them, and I think we should demand results or not bother. It's not cheap, when you consider that really we are supposed to be taking it with D3, A, E, and Magnesium (not to mention Zinc, Boron, etc.) I also think that the recommended amount of K from so many health experts is much too low, and that you can't get more K2 per pill. I bought another similar to this, by Sports Nutrition, no change there either, but it's Jarrow I took for years. No results and now I realize it's soy, and not organic so probably gmo. Many of us have taken antibiotics, have impaired digestion, poor absorbency of nutrition and our guts are supposed to be producing vitamin k, but since we have these issues that is not happening properly, and hasn't been for years. Therefore doesn't it make sense that if we're that concerned that we're researching at this level, that many of us are dealing with serious health issues and that 90, or even 180 micrograms is not going to handle the deficiency no matter how long we take it? I have continued my research, and now I find that the potency of K2 is poor in supplements of this type, there were tests showing it loses the majority of its potency before we, the customer, get it. There is a K2 that passes potency tests even after 2 years, called Just Thrive, 360mcgs. There is also a liquid K2 by Thorne with really high potency, but though it's MK4, there is also some research that MK4 is used better by the body. It may be imperfect but people have seen real results ( Bart Wolbers of Naturebuildshealth.com tells of success with the liquid, and Joan Blaxter, guest posting on Kelly the Kitchen Kop blog tells how Just Thrive saved her gums from disease.) These are the kind of success stories I want the rest of us to have, so I am sharing with anyone reading this. I will be switching to those, whichever one gives me results (less dental trouble, better circulation, less dark circles under the eyes, healthier kidneys, stronger bones, etc). But one more thing to keep in mind, this is not a problem likely to be fixed by plants. The source of this K2, MK 7, like most of them, is plant derived, and since we are not getting the potency we need, and we're not all going to eat natto every day, we need to recognize this needs high potency vitamins but also, some grass fed animal sourced nutrition from our food. The animals convert K1 to K2 for us, Westone A. Price studied people who ate this way and paved the way for vitamin k to be discovered by studying cultures who ate it in abundance and they weren't vegetarians and they weren't getting it from plants. They got it from animals who had made the conversion to a more absorbable K for them. Just putting out there what I have learned, others have helped me by sharing so I want to share in case it helps anyone else. This is a nice company but for most of us who really need the K, this ain't it.
