After about 6 months of minimal use, the opener would go into the cork, but lost all power to pull out the cork. Of course the warranty ran out about the same time. Had to go back to our previous opener that after 3 years is still working, just does not have the vacuum capability.

So sorry to report this did not seal the wine bottle adequately. I did not purchase for the corkscrew function (although that worked ok) but had high hopes, given some of the previous reviews, for the vacuum sealing. The first product I received did not pump or seal at all even after a full 24-hr charge and many attempts. Optimistically, I returned it for replacement and was thrilled to discover that the vacuum pump seemed to work (it made noise, whereas the first one was silent). However, upon removing the stopper the following day, it had little to no seal at all (no "pop"). Ever optimistic, and certain i was "doing it wrong" i went through another 2 bottles of wine, never experiencing a decent seal. Finally, sadly, I returned it for refund. (The two stars are for the corkscrew function which worked extremely well on the replacement.)

I loved this wine opener so much I bought several as Christmas gifts. I like how it sealed the wine bottle after I had a glass of wine. The people who received this also enjoyed getting this item. They don’t have to drink the whole bottle of wine now.

I love this! Wish I had it years ago. I have not used the recork function yet, but it appears to be as stable as the uncork function. I have alrady recommended this to several friends, one that has already purchased it! She loves it!

Best electric wine opener I have ever used.

Having purchased the Kalorik CKS 40211 which worked fantastically I then purchased this model for my second home. Unfortunately this model does not seem to have sufficient power to uncork a bottle. I don't recommend this item.Update:After contacting seller item was replaced with working unit. I'm much happier now.

It works quite well and looks sleek enough not to hide in a drawer or something. Only issue is I wish there were more stoppers or that they offered additional ones for purchase.

I bought this for a Christmas gift for my husband, and it has stopped working . It sounds like the battery is dying even though I keep it on the charger all the time. 31/2 months of use is unacceptable. Of course the window for return says closed

It’s not keeping strong life shelf, having trouble opening bottles after short time receiving it
