It is whisper quiet on its lowest setting. On high it can be a bit loud but still not annoyingly loud. It isn't very big. I would say a just right size... About 20 inches tall give or take a few. You can even shut off all the lights while it stays on... Great feature!!! Puts out a decent amount of air flow.
