Lasted just one use
This umbrella is cheaply made for a child to use. It broke after the first use. Now I know my son probably used it as a sword or something he shouldn't have but he literally just used it to the bus stop. I never let him take umbrellas to school (for fear of them breaking). I bought my other son a different umbrella by a different manufacturer (the one that looks like a frog by Toysmith) and it has held up great and is reinforced on the inside. I would think if they are making this for a child to use, they would make it a little stronger. Don't waste your money.

Holding up Well With Extreme Use
My 2 year old grandson (and his 10 year old brother) played with this umbrella for at least four hours in the rain this weekend and it held up with no problems at all. The umbrella is sized perfectly for the two year old (see photo). It opened and closed easily and is obviously sturdy. Materials were substantial and beautifully colored. Addendum: The umbrella is over 2 years old and still works as good as new.
