I've been using this product in between shaving session to lessen irritation and prevent bumps. I also use it on my chest and top of my back to eliminate bumps formed after being in the hot weather. I notice a slight sting after I apply to my delicate underarms (I get bad irritation there after shaving) but it's definitely worth it. I've noticed the product shrinking the bumps. Really starting to notice a difference with razor burn/strawberry legs! Scent is alcohol+grapefruit, but not unpleasant. Leaves shiny sticky texture while absorbing into skin. Wish the pads were thicker or there were more in the jar! Prefer this product over others like Tend Skin
