Probably my 4th pair. Love these for around the house and lounging. Lightweight, comfy. Great stuff. I'll absolutely be buying more.

I have been wearing cheap flip flops for decades. My late wife bought them at department stores for below $10. Made of low quality foam, they deformed after a few weeks. The toe anchor popped out or ripped within a month. Walking outside, sharp pebbles and glass chards imbedded into the soft material. Traveling inside the house over carpeting and vinyl floors, the flip flops guide over the surface in a slippery fashion - they feel unsafe. So, I had to consciencely walk with care. With the recent Trump tariffs, the stores priced the merchandise between $20 to $25. . Shopping Amazon, the selection is similarly priced. However, this brand had a special sale at $17. Reading the user ratings, it had the highest. So, it was a no brainer to order. . The differences between this Brazilian product the "cheepies" are obvious. The material is dense rubber. It is not smooth. So, there is no slipperiness. The "look and feel" projects quality and durability. At $17, I ordered a second pair.
