Works, but...
The cloth should be thin, if heavy like jeans, it won't work. Didn't wash yet to know if it will sustain or undo.

Very economic. hold fabrics strongly
It needs a rather hot iron, but it holds very well to the fabric. we used it to fold some curtains and adjust its height and it worked perfectly.

It's ok
I used this to fold our banner. It was very easy to do, yet due to the weather, it opened. It could work for clothes and such but not for outdoor fabrics.

It's really not amazing.
Honestly, it's good for just a one day, quick fix. I used it to temporarily hold the hem of some pants that had fallen open, and it stayed held well... as long as I washed in cold water. But even then, after a while, it fell apart pretty quick. If you really want to use something like this, do it on something that won't be washed or invest in the ones that say 'permanent'. It also doesn't seem to melt well even on iron high heat. I am having a much harder time getting the residue OFF the clothes I put it on.

I started using this product one day when my sewing machines were in the shop being repaired and I needed to hem some pants. I folded the edge, placed flat strips of this material between the fold, and ironed. The result was a perfect invisible hem with absolutely no needle or thread marks. I was so impressed, I redid many of the hems in my other pants and skirts. I even started experimenting with quick alterations of shirts. The amount in this order lasted through several pairs of pants and two skirts. I have a lot of clothes, so I soon ordered more and yet more. I haven’t had any problem so far with the adhesive coming apart. On the other hand, the adhesion isn’t so strong that I can’t pull the hem open and redo sections I’m not happy with. I tried a stronger, thicker adhesive tape with better adhesion, but didn’t like it as much for hemming (though I loved it for craft projects and appliqués). Whereas the thinner tape produced a hem that was soft and liable, the stronger and heavier tape produced a stiff hem. Though a stiffer hem might work well with a heavier fabric, I was so dissatisfied with the look of it on light to medium-weight fabrics, I opened the hem, picked out the tape and redid it with the lighter weight tape. Cotton fabrics adhered the best. After that, cotton blends and polyester did well. I found that very thin fabrics didn’t require as much heat as thicker ones. This being the case, I did use the tape successfully on a wide variety of weights and types of cloth. When the fabric fold was too thick for good adhesion, I stuffed a small additional wad of adhesive tape inside and ironed it on both sides. Where it still didn’t hold well enough, I added just enough stitches to make it firmly secure. One further advantage of lighter weight adhesive tape was the ability to use it twice on the same hem for better hold: once in the first fold, then again in the second. It created a hem so secure, I was able to do more adventurous alterations on clothes, such as turning button-down shirts and blouses into cute jackets. If you’re unsure how suitable the product is going to be for any particular hem or project, I suggest using the iron at the hottest safe setting for the fabric and spot testing it to see if it’s heat enough to activate the adhesion. It helps to iron both sides of the hem, and give it a bit of steam (for fabrics that will withstand it). Overall, it’s a great product that I now buy frequently in generous quantities.

I recently started making my own clothing but struggled with the hemming part fot any tops I made. I do not own a serger. I thought I could glue it instead but favric glue made the fabric ticker and bulky. Adhesive fabric liner are only sticky on one side and then I found the tape version and gave it a try. Supper easy to use and clean up any melted tape. Not sure if its waterproof but you can do a top stich to secure it.
