I only use a blade once, because my facial hair is very thick, and I find the Derby blades to be the most comfortable for me. Less nicks, less razor burn, and sharp enough to chop through the forest that I call my face. **Q: Is this a good beginner blade for just detailing a goatee?** A: It can be, if you can make peace with the low quality manufacturing/assembly. Mine holds a blade steady, and will cut and detail just fine, but it isn't going to win any awards for craftsmanship. **Q: I never used them before. Are they dangerous? I cannot imagine if I cut myself with them...I tend to shave fast.** A: As with any single blade razor there is a very real possibility of cutting yourself if you try to shave too fast or if you get careless. Wet shaving with a shavette/straight/safety razor requires the user to slow down and pay close attention to the angle of the blade, pressure applied, and tightness of the skin being shaved. If you're in a hurry this may not be the razor for you. **Q: can i wash it by water ?** A: You can. It's "stain-less" steel which means it's resistant to rust. I wash mine off after shaving, being careful not to get too much water in the pin (the pivot point) and then dry the entire thing off. It looks nice and works well. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good razor but handle is made of very thin steel. *by S***R on 5 January 2022* This is the second time I am buying from the same seller. Very good seller as quality feels like hand picked item. The top opening of the hanle needs little grinding as it a leaves markes on the razor arms while opening and closing the razor, being a handmade product it's acceptable. The handle is made of very thin steel which is not suitable for this price range. Buffing compound is not cleaned properly from many places.
