Plugging the extra red wire into the No. 6 terminal makes the light bar words always stay on. Find a wire that turns on when the ignition switch is turned on and connect it to No. 6 terminal to make the light bar words turn on with "key on". **Q: How long is the wire from the relay to the switch?** A: 6 to 8 feet **Q: The ad says it’s good for 300 watts. The instructions say 180 watts. I’m thinking the ad is wrong. 300 watts/12 volts is 25 amps.** A: The formatting of the specs in the instructions is a little confusing between the 16, 14, and 12 AWG, but it does state that the 14AWG max wattage is 300W. **Q: Will this harness work for 4-wheelers?** A: There should be no issue with using this kit with any 12 volt system.
