Game changer for working from home; minor manufacturing flaws
Like many others, I've found myself stuck inside for the foreseeable future and, as a full-time student with a full-time job I am now sitting at my desk at home for long hours without all the usual walking in between. My body was not used to sitting for 10+ hours per day and my back and circulation were suffering.I did a LOT of research (much to the neglect of my actual scientific research job..) on the benefits of active sitting and decided to try out a yoga ball. With horrifying images of my thighs sticking to the ball in the warmer months, I liked the idea of getting one with a cover. I initially purchased a less expensive one but the ball seemed cheap and thin, was too small for my desk and my legs (55cm is NOT the right size for me even at 5'3), and the base it came with was too large, so the ball just sort of rolled around in it. You get what you pay for, I guessed. This Yogibo ball was by far the most attractive, but also the most expensive and I was unconvinced that a bouncy ball could really be worth $90. Well. Let me tell you how wrong I was. First, I love the cover. It is a lovely blue and soft to the touch (unlike the many that are covered in scratchy wool - who wants to sit on that even if it looks pretty??). This ball doesn't require a base due to the construction of the cover, which made it a little more economical and attractive while still reducing my fear of rolling off it in the middle of a Zoom meeting.. The rubber yoga ball inside is ALSO really high quality - which means it will last and is less likely to pop or leak. The pump is fine, nothing special, but does what it needs to do without any hassle.Tips on setting this up - MAKE SURE that once you get the ball into the cover you align it so that the hole is easily accessible from the cover's opening. You can adjust it more easily once you have the ball inflated just a little. It takes about 5-10 minutes of pumping to get it fully inflated. I am not wildly strong by any means and I didn't find the pump to be an issue. If you have grip or muscular issues in your hands/arms you may find it easier to inflate using a bike pump or by stepping on the pump rather than using your hands. These instructions didn't mention it, but I found that pumping the ball to about 80% capacity (full size but still too "squishy" to sit on) and let it sit for an hour before pumping it fully helps to allow the ball to expand properly. You may find that after the first few days the ball needs another few pumps to get it to the right firmness. I haven't had to adjust it at all since then.My only qualm with this and the reason for the loss of a star was because I found many loose little threads on the cover and a few imperfections in the stitching. These by no means impacted the quality or durability of the cover, but for $90 I would have expected a little more attention to these details.TLDR; I am glad I invested in this ball and have had a great amount of relief in my back and legs from sitting on it. I can comfortably use it all day and it fits well under my desk so it doesn't take up any extra space. Cover is lovely despite some minor imperfections and at 5'3" using a standard height desk, I've found that the 65 cm height works well for me.

Saved my hips & lower back!
After 4 different chairs & several trips to the chiro, this ball-chair has literally made all the difference for sitting long hours working with code. You can roll it forward or backwards to tilt your pelvic are correctly. It also promotes use of leg muscles to sit. Four months later, I still prefer it to my expensive chair! A+++
