I’ve been wearing Berks for what seems like centuries now. I’ve converted both my dad, Mum and now husband. All of whom are on their umpteenth pairs.Extremely comfortable, my advice would be to get a size slightly bigger than your regular shoe size. An invaluable piece of advice I got from the first day I brought my first pair, was to buy the next size up. This would ensure your foots not hanging over the back/edge and more importantly, minimum pressure is applied in between the toes by the shoe post.These are an Old trustee like a second set of feet!!

This style is one of my favourite. The combination of toe post and across arch buckled strap keep your foot perfectly in place when you walk. The sculptured foot bed correctly angles the foot eliminating back issues and allowing the wearer to remain comfortably on their feet many hours longer than would be the case with the great majority of sandals. The sole could however be more hardwearing. This seems to flatten out on the heel after a certain amountof wear. If you are not going to live in your Birkenstocks all year round, they will probably hold up well for you.

I've had some good flip flops overs the years, and as much as I love wearing around the house and garden, when it comes to going out and walking about town, etc., with a lot of flip-flops, you end up with hammer-toe. However, the design of these means you can walk far more naturally, without having to scrunch up your toes to hold them on. Really comfortable sole. These are the anti-flip-flop, because they don't flip or flop, but look similar, don't give you hammer toe and are just so comfortable to wear.However, I will say that nearly all my shoes and trainers say I'm a size 42, but in Birkenstocks' stuff, size 39. So, my advise is, either try them on elsewhere, or just order a size or two smaller than you expected (and that's still with leaving the gap at either end they recommend) And also probably replace bottom sole before you get t through to the cork.Very happy with these. Very comfy, very sturdy so far (nearly a year of near everyday use), and reasonable wide fitting on the non-narrow width.

This is my second pair, last ones lasted 10+ years. I use to buy a new pair of cheaper (although not cheap) every year before a friend convinced me to buy these. Extremely comfortable, I use on holidays to walk on beaches, over rocks, in towns, driving.... you will not regret such a purchase they feel amazing and really hug your soles. I usually end up having to evo stick the sides to the base every few years as they have a tendancy to separate in really hot weather. But this does the job! These pay for themselves about 8 times over given there longevity compared to competitors. Highly recommend

As expected. I know from experience to go down a size in Birkenstocks and these fit my partner perfectly. They are very durable and last for years and very quickly become very comfortable as the cork footbed moulds to your own foot shape. I would never be without a pair of these sandals.
