I bought this stick to replace one that had worn out. It is a great light weight stick. It is stable and helps confidence when walking. It has done a fair distance since I bought it and the rubber end is not showing any wear at all.I would highly recommend this stick. It also looks nice.

This is a great product that is small and easy to carry in a purse, small bag, or just in your hand. It is easy to fold and has a small black bag for easy storage. You can also easily change the height adjustments. This little cane is not only sturdy but comes in a variety of colors. I purchased this for an upcoming trip to Alaska as a "just in case" necessity and just knowing that I have it if needed has completely put my mind at ease. For the price, how could you not purchase this item? This has definitely given me peace of mind, and the compactness of this cane is even better! Highly recommend this.

I bought this for my wife for occasional travel. My goal was to get as sturdy a unit as I could without it being excessively heavy, bulky, or costing a fortune. The last thing one needs is to have a cane buckle sideways when a heavy force is applied to it, and the person is relying on it to keep them upright. The price for this unit was in the lower range, and the tubing thickness was as good as others and better than some. While I have not done any testing, from an engineering standpoint I would expect the weak point of these collapsible designs, relative to potential sideways buckling, to be in the joints. Screwed connections can be quite strong if properly done, but this depends on how they are designed and how well they are assembled. Canes with screwed joints seem to be heavier, tend to be more expensive, and are a bit more intricate to assemble. For light canes with overlap joints, tubing diameter and thickness being equal, I would expect the most important remaining factor in determining joint resistance to buckling to be the length of the joint itself, the amount by which the outer tube overlaps the inner tube. If one looks at the pictures closely, one will see that the joints in this particular cane overlap more than others that I found. I believe this provides an extra margin of strength, and it is the reason I ordered this particular cane. The good news is that we just completed a 2 week trip, and my wife used the cane and loved it. It is light in weight, reassuringly sturdy, and easy to fold and unfold. It also attracted a fair bit of interest from other members of the group. Good Job!

After having an ankle stent placement, I needed a cane for support as I progressed from non-weight bearing to touch down assist to partial weight bearing. But I also wanted something fashionable with a high-end look. No ugly canes for me.This cane is perfect for MY needs. It is sturdy enough for partial weight bearing and very classy too. The embellishments around the top of the cane are what sold me.This is not a cane for someone needing full body weight support. Per package insert: "This cane is designed to provide support up to 250 lbs and is NOT designed to support the total weight of the individual."The cane is shipped in a very elegant box with a velour carrying case and cane strap. It snaps together very quickly and folds with minimum effort. I travel extensively and this will fit right into my purse or carry-on. The cane tip is 1 1/2 inches in diameter and has 5 height adjustment settings. Once you have all of your adjustments made, there is an outer cane sleeve lock to secure settings.I love this cane because it provides the support I need and the contrasting black and white design is classic elegance, suitable for any outfit. Looks very high-end which was the style I was looking for.

I have spondilosthesus, & herniated discs. This is perfect, because I have good days & bad days! Sometimes I do not need the cane, but when my condition acts up, I need to have it close by. Very light, pretty & effective. I also feel secure using it. It is easy to fold up or open, so I am quite pleased with this product. It is a great value & very handy to take along. I have now purchased two of these, one to leave in the car "in case", and one to have for travel. Would recommend highly.
