Nice tan glow and the process super easy ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Difficult to Apply *by A***E on April 6, 2025* After years of excessive sun exposure by tanning, I am finding sunless tanning solutions developing at an accellerated rate. I was looking for an all natural sunless tanning spray and ordered a 4 ounce bottle of SunFX Caribbean Chocolat- All Natural Spray Tanning Solution in MID SUMMER from the SunFX Store. I was puzzled when it arrived in a non-spray bottle. Reading further the instructions stated that the liquid can be used in ALL HVLP Spray Tanning sprayers. Not knowing what HVLP meant, I googled and found that HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) spray tanning equipment uses a turbine to disperse a high volume of air at low pressure, resulting in a finer, more consistent spray and reduced overspray compared to traditional spray guns. I do not own a professional tanning salon so do not have access to the HVLP. I read further to see if I can use a spray bottle to apply. You can pour DHA tanning liquid into a fine mist spray bottle, shake it, and then spritz your body for an at-home spray tan. While DHA is safe for topical use, inhaling the mist from a spray tan can potentially irritate the lungs. Never use aerosal tanning liquid. All natural ingredients are fine for the skin, but not for the lungs. Ingredients include Australian potent native extracts kakudu plum & finger lime caviar, Aloe & Vit E to aid in skin brightening, anti aging & promote deeper absorption and skin hydration. This ensures better skin uptake of the active tanning ingredient DHA and increased tan longevity. DHA, or dihydroxyacetone, is the active ingredient in many self-tanning products, causing a temporary darkening of the skin by reacting with amino acids on the surface. It's a sugar derivative derived from sugar beets and sugar cane. SunFX DHA will begin to activate within 1-4 hours after application. Tans typically last 7-10 days with proper care and application. As you can see, this is not an easy to use product and although it may have quality ingredients in it, the application process is complicated.
