Want to give it 5 stars so badly! The dispenser is holding me back!
I really like this product. It leaves my skin feeling soft instead of dry after cleaning. I can’t give it 5 stars simply because of the packaging. It is VERY difficult to get the product out of the tube when it gets close to the bottom. If it wasn’t so expensive I wouldn’t care, but at almost $15 a tube I can’t afford to waste it. Honest Beauty- come up with a more user friendly dispenser!

Wonderful for dry skin
If you don’t like the feel of residue on your skin, meaning you want squeaky clean feeling, don’t buy this. I am impressed. It does leave a nice soft residue on my skin , probably from the glycerin. I have dry skin, live in a dry climate and want a product that leaves a soft feeling on my skin. I’m impressed. The residue on my skin isn’t heavy or oily. Just soft and nice. I’ll continue to buy as long as it’s available.

Beware of Coconut Oil
I bought this looking for an alternative to cleansing balms because oil cleansing tends to break me out. But when I read the back one of the first ingredients...is coconut oil! Now if you have acne prone skin you KNOW how clogging coconut oil is. So I really dodged a bullet by reading before trying, but next time i'll try reading for buying.

Works great as a 1st Cleanse
I double cleanse and I think this works well for my first step to remove oil-based impurities such as waterproof makeup, SPF and sebum. I saw this on Jessica Alba's video on Harper Bizarre's "Go to bed with me" series. She actually uses this first and THEN her foaming cleanser. The texture of this is like a thick gel that does get milky with the addition of water, just like other oil cleaners I use. It works well to dissolve my spf and waterproof mascara, then I use my second cleanser (water based cleanser). If you don't use a second cleanser, you will have a film, much like any other oil cleanser. The website directions says this --How to use: Use on wet or dry skin. For difficult makeup removal, massage cleanser onto dry skin, then rinse with warm water. For regular use, massage cleanser onto wet skin as the gel turns to milk, then rinse with warm water. The directions don't indicate your face will feel squeaky clean. They say "for difficult makeup removal". Most low star ratings on this item are because people do not understand the double cleanse concept. This product is 5 stars if you use it in the manner it was designed to be used.
