**Q: Can you use this on the bbq?**
A: Yes.

**Q: does the diameter measurement include handles**
A: It is an enormous paella pan, the diameter of which does not include the handles, but is the cooking area. Mine is in constant use and I have to say, one of my best purchases of recent times. A great product.

A: I would say yes but to be honest I always wash my pans the old fashioned way
