Will this with stand hit water?

Hey Shannon,  Not really sure what your asking. I don't use a stand to hook up from my city water to my RV on the side of the vehicle. The hose works well but I still am NOT PLEASED with how bad these non-kink hoses DO KINK. Very Frustrating. This hose will bend and twist and kink so I need to coil as carefully as possible (and still get hard creases) to store and then unwind and straighten every time I hook it up. Seems to be the nature of the beast. Still looking for that magic Non-kinkable hose. Happy Journey's to you and yours

Does the blue (in picture) grip on the male end swivel also, to allow easier use of hand sprayer, etc?

Is this hose made of the same material as the green one? I notice the hoses are sold in both the green and blue colors.

I bought the green one. I like it. It is amazingly flexible, but all hoses kink.

Can heat tape be saelfely used on this? I camp year round in the Northern Rockies.

Thank you for your question.  If you follow the below instructions, it should be OK to use the heat tape:
1. The tape must be UL certified
2. The heat tape must automatically control the temperature (aka self-regulated)
3. The heat tape should be plugged into GFCI
