I love this play food. It's the most realistic stuff I've been able to find. The pieces are also very durable and easy for little hands to grasp and play with. My sister has a few sets of Learning Resources play food for her kids, so I was familiar with the brand when I purchased this set for my son for his first birthday. My sister's sets are several years old and are still in perfect condition (except for the ones the dog chewed holes in). The paint does not come off with wear, and the kids haven't bitten through or torn off parts of the plastic, either. They're firm but squish-able, and the material is smooth to the touch but not slippery, so little kids can grab onto it without a problem. Though they're not "life-sized," the fruits and veggies are a good size for kids, too - they're not small enough to pose a choking hazard, but also not too big. They're also not to scale -- the head of lettuce is about the same size as the onion, the ear of corn is about four inches long, etc -- but the shape, coloring and details are all very life-life. The tote in this set is a cute little addition. A good size for my one-year-old, and all of the fruit fits in it well, without being so full that they fall back out. I'll be buying more Learning Resources play food for my son in the future! For now, this 16-piece set is a perfect starter set. I don't need 30-something pieces of play food all over my house... yet :)

I absolutely love the Learning Resources play food collection. This set is our second, and the quality is just as great as the first. My favorite thing about the toy is the material: it’s very durable and easy to clean/disinfect. PERFECT size for a one year old. I will be purchasing more!

Exactly what I was expecting and my 3yr old daughter loves this. I did read some of the negative feedback prior to purchasing and was aware of the amount of pieces and size. The product description is very clear and the picture is scaled to size. So I'm not sure of other consumers expectations, because it was 100% clear to me. I purchased this for my daughter as an addition to her play kitchen. The pieces are perfect size and it compliments all the other play kitchen accessories very nicely. She has a small cookware set, dinner set, cooking utensils, a shopping cart, and more fruits and vegetables she can shop for and prepare for dinner! She has already spent 3 hours today playing with these toys and it doesn't appear to be ending anytime soon. I actually really like the material this product is made of. You can feel that it's sturdy and made of good quality. There's a decent amount of give to the plastic so it doesn't crack or break. Overall. my daughter and I are both happy with this product.

This set is really cute in the bag that comes with it is a good way to store when not playing with it. It's been a fun way to teach healthier foods to my toddler, the only downside is he sometimes puts them into his mouth and chews when pretending to eat, and some pieces are hollow so they bend. They've held up fine so far and go back to original shape when manipulated, but I fear they may bend or crack down the line when played with a lot. Still a lot better than other brands I've seen, would recommend!

I bought this for my 18-month old granddaughter and she loves it! She took a bite of the banana right away. She loves to put the fruits and veggies in the shopping bag and in her little shopping cart. They are very well made, soft and sturdy, and perfect size for toddlers to hold. This gift was such a hit I just ordered another one for another little girl's birthday.

This is a really beautiful set. Each piece of fruit is customized to appear as close to the original fruit as possible. It's not like they just used the same 5 colors of plastic for the whole set- for example, the plum, blackberries, and grapes are each a subtly different shade of purple. And my one year old son LOVES it, each piece is very attractive and the perfect size for his little hands, it seems like he is always carrying around at least one piece of fruit, frequently one in each hand. I think it is going to be a great way for him to learn the names of some fruits and vegetables. When I was eating a pear the other day, he really wanted to see Mommy's pear. So I let him look at my pear for a little while, and then when he started biting it (and not liking the peel in his mouth!) I gave him a few slices of real pear to chew on and his very own toy pear to play with, and he loved it! A great toy, highly recommended!

Absolut toll. Mein Sohn spielt so gerne mit seinem Marktstand. Dort war das Obst und Gemüse aber aus hartplastik, viele Teile sind kaputt gebrochen. Nun hat er ersatz bekommen. Das Obst und Gemüse ist schön weich und sieht gut aus. Auch toll das ein Einkaufsbeutel dabei ist. Preis ist natürlich schon happig, aber das Ostergeschenk war ein voller Erfolg. Einzig würde ich bemängeln das die Größen Verhältnisse nicht passen. Die Möhre ist fast mit am kleinsten. Erdbeere fast so groß wie die Zitrone. Hier hätte man die Größen besser anpassen können

I’m glad I spent the money on this set. It’s not an overwhelming amount of toys, instead it’s a rather classy and high quality item with just what you need. Would be amazing as a gift! The fruits and veggies are ‘small’ in size, which I think is perfect for toddler hands. We’ve borrowed bigger sets before and that was no good, also because then the food then simply doesn’t fit into a play kitchen. This set is superb, great size, perfect amount of toys; and even though I feel it was slightly pricy, I’m super glad I splurged!

Veramente molto carino.. La frutta e la verdura sono molto realistici, veramente di ottima fattura...anche la borsa in stoffa e molto carina e di dimensioni adatte anche per bambini molto piccoli..a parte alcuni frutti e ortaggi, gli altri sono quasi delle dimensioni reali.. Unico difetto è il materiale..sono di una plastica rigida ma gommosa su cui si attacca molto facilmente lo sporco e pelucchi di vario genere... Ma a parte questo sono nettamente migliori di qualsiasi altro giocattolo simile in commercio...

Suelo comprar juguetes de madera porque me chiflan, pero sé que esta marca está muy bien y hace cosas bonitas a pesar de que sean de plástico. Los alimentos están muy logrados, de plástico resistente pero no duro, más bien blandito. Son suaves al tacto. La verdad es que estoy encantada y mi hijo de dos años lo pasa pipa jugando a las cocinitas!
