Alittle big for my build but not unexpected
This is the first solid ,well constructed, vest i have found since Skillers was bought out and their brand was destroyed by Mascot. This vest is just what i wanted in a work vestMy only complaint is that since I am short, 5'6" the pockets are a bit low for my reach.but that is to be expected when you are vertically challenged.

comfortable, breaths well, and holds everything I need.
It would be great if the pockets could be unsnapped and mover for a more custom fit.

Excellent value, low profile fully adjustable work vest.
Excellent adjustment capability; fits well over a t shirt AND over my heavy winter coat after adjustments. Pockets are very thin and will wear out fast with nails/screws, but I plan to reinforce big pockets anyway. Good choices in pocket sizes and placement, vest is lightweight, not too bulky, with a good quality plastic zipper and buckle. It's a perfect base to do your own modifications; Take 10 min and attach a decent leather hammer loop, or just reinforce the existing one. It works and my hammer never falls out, but it's flimsy and will wear fast. Large pockets hold my impact driver but it's awkward to remove without a leather lining. If pockets are lined with simple canvas bags or leather, the vest should last several years.

Good, but not great. Acceptable for DIY; but a No Go if you're a Pro
The solid under belt really helps secure and balance the load taking some weight off the shoulders and keeping this close to your body.I don't find the pocket and holder layout to be very good for me... but that's the balance between the high priced, high quality, modular competitor.Overall quality is moderate at best. Not for someone who would use this on a regular basis. Several stress points lack riveting or reinforcement and material is only sturdy enough for occasional use.Doesn't feel like a bargain for the $69 I paid, but the one I wanted was going to run over $300 with "accessory" pockets & holders; so I had to give it a try.

For active work as a Finish Carpenter
This is a reasonable good start on a job or work vest. The front zipper/ belt are sturdy/ the cooling meshis well done. The pocket stiching is weak and breaks through for me predictably in about 6 mo. The hammerloop in particular is thoughtless, needs better material/ stiching. I remove mine and replace with flat doublestitched tree staking straping.
