I suppose these are marketed for camping, but I selected this as an alternative to melamine or plastic, and a lightweight dish solution for an elderly person that can't safely use porcelain or ceramic any longer. they are so happy with this solid and safe yet light plate. these are easy to clean, no worries about crashing to the floor and shattering. it's a fair value. obviously not microwaveable, but we don't nuke anymore, strictly stovetop reheating, so it doesn't matter. overall, it's a very good option for my concerns.

Good for camping but some have slightly sharp lips

I got these to add to my camp kitchen kit and I have used them several times now. One of the first comments I hear from others, is how much they like the look and feel of these. They are solid and sturdy, have been dropped without chipping, and show no signs of rust after a few washings. This has been a great purchase! 5/5 Stars.

If you appreciate enamelware, you will love these plates. Look beautiful and great craftsmanship.

Other reviews have said these things individually... Each item has a big sticker front and center that is hard to peel off. If you soak them for a while, the sticker will come off, so it's not really that big of a deal. The enamel coating looks like it was either slopped on by a 5th grade art class or applied in a wind tunnel - there are globs and unevenness to the coating, but nothing that would make them unusable or hideous or anything. Probably the single biggest knock is the edges which are curled over but not completely rolled, so there IS a metal edge on the underside around the rim. It's not sharp or anything, but it does impart a cheapness and a not-great feel when picking up the plates. That said, these plates are very light so they're great for camping or an RV. They're also significantly less expensive at $6/each vs closer to $20/each for others I've found.

Don't buy ...white plates stain and stay stained rust spots on rim

These are perfect for warming up food in the oven like pizza slices or other leftovers. Take them from the oven and put the hot plate on a wood bread board to eat directly off of at the dinner table. They should last forever since they can’t break like ceramic dishes. Glad I bought them.
