I purchased these lights to put in a tin ceiling with a square design, so I was happy to find a light with a square bezel. They fit in perfectly and were super easy to install. My electrician did the wiring, and as soon as we were ready to put the ceiling up, we adjusted the temperature of the light (we wanted a softer, warmer light) plugged in the actual lighting part, and snapped them into place. Took just minutes.There are several options for color temperature ranging from a super bright cooler/blue light to a very warm/yellow light. That said, even though you can adjust the color temperature, don't confuse this for brightness. Even on the lower end of the warm lighting, we found these a bit too bright for where we were using them. The good news is, they are able to be dimmed if you just put a dimmer switch on your light switch.My only "complaint", which is really just nit-picky, we only needed 4 of these lights. I wish they were sold individually or in smaller packages. We weren't doing an entire room, just a small alcove for our woodstove surround and wanted them for some directional light to highlight our mantle. So we did end up with a few left-over unused lights.If you're on the fence about these lights, go ahead and buy them. They're a great light for a great price.

I have almost 7/8" thick gypsum board ceilings and had issues 3 years ago doing my living room with another brand. Had to file the ceiling thickness at the clips. But THIS PRODUCT has excellent springs on the two clips and placed higher so they snap into the ceiling of standard thickness and deeper too like mine.They have a high quality driver/built-in j-box (that is separate from the light) so a remodel is super easy. It also is dimmable, at least with the higher end lutron Diva dimmer I bought for about $30 here. I wanted to be SURE it dimmed these and it did.I had a single light in the middle of my hallway that needed replacing with these 4 LED Recessed lights. I used an adjustable Milwaukee Ceiling hole cutter set at 4.25" and cut 4 holes in the ceiling. I looped romex thru each hole (about 4' apart). These LED lights have the separate J-box so I wired in and out those boxes with my white and black wires, then connected to the old j-box that had my old light. I actually used that hole for a new 120v smoke detector to cove that hole but taped into it for the existing circuit to these new lights. The light then has a 6" whip that snaps into the whip on the j-box, then hold back those clips and put the light in the hole. Looks awesome in my hallway.BTW: I had a 3way switch in that hallway, and that Lutron dimmer replaced just one 3way switch for dimming. I left the other end as it was. This Lutron Diva can be used for 3 way or single as well, same price.

So I replaced some older nonworking lights and added a few. Installation was easy. Cut the whole in the soffit based on the instructions. Installed it. The light is bright and perfect color. Daylight. Love the look of the house with these lights. Neighbors love it too. Being outside feels more secure as well .

I love that I now have lights in my living room that's not provided by a lamp. Theses lights are the best! I love the fact the gimbals lights allow me to direct my light in the direction of my choice. I also have the option to select from 3 color options and adding a dimmer to the set is also an option for the ultimate setting.

Nice light that works well with my dimmer switch. I see this scattered through some of this lights reviews: You get a 4 1/4 inch template with this light/kit to install. I would highly recommend NOT using this provided template, that is a 4 1/4 inch hole size, for your ceiling. If you over cut even slighly then your screwed and you'll just barely see the hole edges around the light hole which no one of course wants to see. The perfect size is 100mm (a hair under 4") that this assembly body will fit into (the holding springs are slightly larger that 4" but you can easily push those through the drywall with the ~ 4" hole). Just buy this 100mm hole saw and you'll be good to go with this.

These lights were a cinch to install(so says my contractor) and selecting the light style (cool, warm) is easy too. If you change your mind, he showed me how easy it was to pop them out with the clips and turn the switch to the style of your choice. Still have to finish up the fan, but just wanted to post and move on with my project t! These lights were a welcome addition to our master bath remodel. Highly recommended

We are doing a remodeling job, and I chose these lights because they were square rather than round. They are square on the outside trim and have a round eye that can be moved to be more directional. They look very nice on the ceiling. We have them on dimmer switches and put them to the brightest illumination before setting them in the ceiling. They are sleek, and a nice looking light. They do have multiple colors from bright to warm depending on your area. We are happy with the purchase.

I’ve bought about 50 of these lights and the give off a clean adjustable light. Not one of them has gone bad or stopped working. I’m planning on buying more to have in reserve in case they stop making them.
