HartzUltraguard Flea and Tick Collar, White

I've been using Hartz flea and tick products on all of our fur babies for many years and it works really well at keeping fleas at bay. I had to switch from the liquid drops for my kitty who is sensitive and can smell it coming and runs away. (She's a sassy Ginger and is extremely picky and adversive to a great many things).I placed this collar near her bed so she could get used to the smell (it actually smells quite nice compared to earlier versions of this product, but like I said, she's very sensitive) and it was easy to put the collar on her after a couple of days. The best part is unlike the liquid drops, this flea collar lasts 7 months! Highly recommend.*NOTE: I saw some reviews where a collar burned or irritated the cats skin. It is extremely important not to put the collar on too tight. There MUST be at least room enough to put your 2 main fingers between the collar and the cats neck to avoid any issues with irritation to the kitty's skin. Takes a while to work but it does eventually

Seemed to work great all season April the Oct. Dogs are out daily for walks in grassy park areas, primarily mowed grass and also hang out in the lawn. No fleas and no ticks. Hard frost came late and into month 8, after 7 full months of use, we did find two ticks but that was after the 7 months and maybe one of the dogs got into a thicket. Do track your wearing datesWill purchase again. I use these types of collars for past 8 years and they do a great job for my dogs. For regular city or suburban use, they are great.
