Playgro Lights & Sounds Fire Truck – Engaging Baby Toy for Development and Sensory Play, 0+ Months

I purchased this for my 19 month old, who loves cars and trucks.PROSIt's colorful. It's also lightweight and my son is able to easily lift it over his head.CONS Because my son is continually rolling it around, it is making the same sound over and over and OVER AND OVER AND OVER again, which is driving me a bit crazy. It's the ignition sound and since it's a short sound and it happens when you roll the toy, it's doing it like every 10 seconds. I don't think there's a way to turn off the sound either. It makes a few other sounds and plays music, but he mostly wants to roll it around so he is making it make that sound repeatedly.Also, getting it out of the box was such a pain. It was literally screwed to the box with a screw and plastic thing. I thought it was one of those ones where you could just turn the plastic and it would loosen up and fall off, but it wasn't. Thankfully my husband had a screw driver that was thin enough to fit in deep plastic hole to be able to remove it from the box. It seemed like overkill for a $9 truck to be attached to the packaging like that.Oh and literally while I was writing this review it stopped working. He's had it for about 2 hours total. I guess I don't have to worry about the ignition sound anymore.... I'll have to send it back and I'm sure my son is going to be upset about that.

I bought this for my son's birthday and it has become one of his favorite toys. It gets rolled around and sometimes thrown, this little car is quite sturdy. It is also very easy for him to control and hold. However, from a parent's perspective the siren can get annoying to hear after awhile.

I bought this for my 1 year old daughter. It makes noise and lights up which she loves. The only "issue" with it, and it's a very small issue for me, is that it is really sensitive. You can barely touch it and it starts making noise and sometimes even just by how it is setting on the carpet. Not a big deal though and my daughter likes it so money well spent.

This car is super cute. We got it for my one year old son.
