Cotton Vera Tote Bag

This bag is really high quality, functional and gorgeous. I got the Vines Floral. The only problem was that it was too big for my needs, so I bought the exact same thing in the smaller version and that one is the perfect size for me. It is important to note that the description for this bag says it's 15" wide. It is 15" wide at the bottom, but is 19" wide at the top making it look huge to me. So if you like a BIG bag, go for it.

I’m sorry that I didn’t buy this tote SOONER! It’s absolutely perfect for my work tote! Prior to this, I was having to use two smaller totes to hold everything, but this bag allows me to be all-in-one. It fits a full-sized laptop, multiple notebooks, a travel scanner, power cords, multiple phones and more! The straps are long enough to sling the bag onto the shoulder in one motion (if you hold the top of the handle and bend your arm, your elbow has plenty of clearance). To me, this is much more ideal than having to essentially use one hand to hold the bag and put your carrying arm straight through until it’s on the shoulder. The straps are wider and feel comfortable even with a ton of stuff inside the bag. I will be purchasing many more of these just to change out the colors!

I have a "work bag" problem... but I think I have found my new favorite work bag. It fits my 15.5 inch laptop perfectly. And I can use it on the weekends because it fits everything for me, a 4 year old, and a dog when we go to the park, beach, a friends house... PERFECT BAG!! (I splurged and got the matching wallet purse for when we have quick stop to the store or something and want to leave the big bag in the car)I love all the deep internal pockets that line both sides. The tweed print is bright and fun, but can work with dressing formal when going to a conference or visiting a customer.

I love this bag! It was just a little larger than I expected, yet perfect for my needs. It has so many pockets to keep me organized and a large open middle section to put my water bottle, laptop, folders, a change of shoes, and a light cardigan. My one and only complaint about it (and this doesn't even warrant taking off a star) is that the charging pocket doesn't work for me because my mobile charger is older so it's rather bulky and I have an otterbox on my phone so the two bulky items together don't work in the purse the way it's designed. The pocket itself is still a genius idea and I could probably solve my problem by just getting a smaller charger (which I think I have somewhere). For now, I just use one of the large inside pockets to hold my phone and charger and it works just fine. The bag is PERFECT (and light weight - so important) and the "Go Fish" print is absolutely adorable!

I have never had the desire to buy from Vera Bradley before. I wasn’t into the soft, paisley look. But I’ve been desperate to find the perfect tote to commute to university/work with and this is it!Not only do I love the color pattern, but the size is perfect to carry everything I need without looking like I’m traveling across country.It holds my 13in laptop comfortably with space for plenty of supplies.The 6 interior pockets are amazing! But the 3 exterior pockets are to die for. I now have a comfortable place for my wallet (zippered front pocket), keys (pocket begins the zipper one), and my phone (the pocket in the seam)! I never have to fumble with my three most important items ever again! It’s so nice to have a separate place for my phone and to have easy and discreet access.The bag don’t hold its form when it’s empty but if you look I one of my photos you can see I barely have anything in it. A small book, some lotion, products, etc and it stands up. I really like this because I’m not a fan of the slouchy/hobo look.I’m very satisfied with this bag.My ONLY complaint is that there are some loose threads but that’s it.

I love this size tote bag from Vera Bradley !! It’s big enough to throw in all your snacks, bottles of waters and still fit other stuff for the plane. I originally bought the smaller version of the tote bag with no zipper and it wasn’t what I wanted, so I got this one instead. This one zippers closed and many inside pocketsI also love the snow lotus pattern it goes with my Vera Bradley navy weekender bag! I carried on both bags with me on a 10 hour flight, really loved having them with me. I just machine washed it, air dried, and came out good as new !

The Positive: I love the style of this tote, lots of pockets. Holds my purse, lunches and other items easily. I use a separate bag for laptop and work projects, but they would probably fit into this easily.The Negative: This is my 3rd Vera tote. I miss the quality of the first one I purchased 10+ years ago when the inside pockets were quilted. It seems with each edition the quality declines. I use this bag daily. The first lasted 6 years, the second 4 (but was only used daily 3 years due to work from home). Both previous ones wore out on the shoulder straps. I only purchased this time because it was 50% off. I loved the original Vera line but was hesitant to purchase this. While the bag is nice, it was very stiff compared to previous versions. Seems the fabric quality has also been lowered in the line. Also, in prior versions the cardboard insert in the bottom of the bag was able to be removed for washing. This one is sewn in. Maybe they used plastic inside(?), but I'm doubtful. If cardboard, it won't launder well. If you're looking for a nice bag for occassional use, it's great, but if for the daily grind definitely purchase on sale!

Love this bag! I am not a bag person at all so this is my house to car bag where I keep all my extra junk that I need through out my day as a mom. Since Covid I’ve found I need more stuff and this bag has so many pockets it keeps all the extras organized. I have a pocket for my clean masks, I keep a huge tub of disinfectant wipes in there, a pocket for my sunglasses, tampons and so much more. I love that this zips shut it keeps my child and my dogs out of my bag. The pattern is beautiful and dark so it doesn’t show stains or look dirty. The strap stays well on my shoulder.
