I had to get a fresh batch of chili peppers since mine was at the end of it's expiration date and what a difference these made. They are spicy but also earthy and slightly sweet but not sugary, just fragrant and wonderful on pizza and pasta. With so many brands on Amazon to choose from this was definitely a good purchase. I'd give this 5 stars if it was a little spicier.

Fan of crashed red peppers than this is a great purchase for sure. It is easy to spend a ton of money on spices like this in grocery stores, but if you’re careful, you’ll find brands like this that will save you a ton of money. Great price, great heat. Enjoy it!

Tried other offerings, not good - this one meets my needs for slicing pizza and other foods needing a bit of heat.

This big bag of crushed red pepper is just what we needed. We go through a lot of crushed peppers in recipes and on pizza and Spices Village brand is just right. It's moderately hot, which means my husband is happy with using lots on his pizza while I can use a sprinkle without worrying about burning my mouth.I buy most spices and herbs in small bottles so that I can use them up in a years' time, but red pepper goes much faster. I poured this into a cup-sized glass container and when the pizza arrives, we just put the jar on the table and add to our hearts content. This is a perfect product for us in all ways -- size, heat, and price. Highly recommended.
