AcuRite Pro Humidity Meter & Thermometer, Hygrometer with Backlight

I recently purchased the AcuRite Pro Humidity Meter & Thermometer with Touch Activated Backlight, and it has been a very satisfying addition to our RV. The device is user-friendly, with a straightforward interface that makes it easy to read and understand the current temperature and humidity levels. One of the standout features for me is the different mounting options. This flexibility is particularly useful in an RV setting, where space is at a premium and you need devices that can adapt to different spaces. The AcuRite Pro fits this need perfectly. In terms of accuracy, this device is spot on. I've compared its readings with other measuring devices I own, and it consistently delivers accurate results. There are no discrepancies or issues in its performance, which gives me confidence in the data it provides. Another aspect I appreciate is the quick visual readout. The display is clear and easy to read at a glance, which is convenient when you're busy and just need a quick check. Additionally, the size of the unit is just right – it's compact enough not to be obtrusive in our RV, yet large enough to easily read the display. Had to replace an 8 year old AcuRite as it was no longer accurate. This replacement was dead on with what my thermostat indicated. Really like the light feature that my old one did not have,

I now have three of these and they work very well. Their reading are very consistent with each other and they appear to be accurate; at least within their stated tolerances and they can be calibrated to offset discrepancy. The display is very readable and I also like the backlight feature. The only complaint I have is the precision of the temperature reading only shows whole degrees. It would be nice if it indicated tenths of degrees since the accuracy is supposedly +/- 0.5.

Works fine for my needs in a bedroom and seems to be accurate. The backlight is nice for checking at night but the screen is almost too bright in a completely dark room.

I bought two of these and I put them side by side in a sealed ziplock bag for a day to compare the results. After 24 hours both units had the exact same readings for temperature and humidity. On initial setup, one read slightly higher temperature and slightly lower humidity than the other. But they evened out to the same readings within an hour and then stayed in agreement. No problems with either unit after one month of use in a high humidity area, and I haven't had to change batteries yet. At this price point you can't really ask for better. Something useful to know - the temperature and humidity history shows the highest/lowest readings from the past 24 hours. In other words, if you're checking the history at for example 11 AM, the device can only remember back to 11 AM yesterday.

A great dependable meter. Updates quickly like every 10 seconds. Batteries last a long time, as I recall I only changed once after about 3 years of continuous use. I find the backlight very handy (tap the top to light). Temperature was accurate vs other gauges in the home. Didn't have another hygrometer to compare against. But taking the math approach you can take the local weather readings and calculate what the indoor relative humidity should probably be, and it was right on accurate. Great value for the money! Recently bought another one for a friend.

These are nice temp gauges for the money. The light internal light is very handy and they last a long time on a set of batteries. Also, the temp and humidity settings can be adjusted.

I bought this device to tell me what the humidity is in my bedroom. I bought two other brands and a humidifier with a humidity monitor. None of the read the same. 9 degree swing in some cases. This was the only device that allowed for calibration. Because of this fact I am using this device as my control. One more thing in my case adding the 3 units readings together and then dividing 3 gives a useable results.

Works as it should and the backlight feature is useful in dim places. Only wished that it can be connected via wifi/IOT so that I can monitor the readings remotely

Primero compré el modelo sin luz y al final terminé comprando este modelo con luz. Es la gran ventaja en la noche estar monitoreando mi mini split con el. El único defecto es que no tiene boton de apagado y encendido y como solo lo uso en la noche, tengo que quitarle en el día las pilas y volverselas a poner en la noche y esto es molesto
